The following information sets out the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.​

1) Processing your Order

An email confirmation is sent to your e-mail address after placing your order. Please keep this e-mail as proof of your purchase.

2) Shipment Processing Time

Processing time refers to the time it takes for us to prepare your order for shipping and the designated time & date you have requested your goods to be delivered.

After your payment is authorised and verified, all orders are processed within the advised timeframe when placing your order. We will contact you if there is any changes to the expected delivery period.

3) Shipment Locations

3.1) Domestic Only

Digital Butcher Co. Pty Ltd does not ship internationally at this time. We ship domestic only – anywhere in metropolitan Melbourne and specific regional areas within Victoria as advised on our website.

4) Shipment rates and delivery estimates

We endeavor to get your order to you as soon as possible. Once your order is placed, a delivery time window will be provided to you. Estimated arrival dates & times may be affected by a number of factors outside the control of Digital Butcher Co. including weather delays and other unforeseen circumstances which may impact delivery times. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, we make every effort to fulfil your order but due the on-demand & seasonality of Digital Butcher Co.’s product range, there may be periods when an order may be delayed due to the nature of the fresh protein supply chain.

4.1) Please note:

(a) Business day means Monday to Friday, except public holidays.

(b)Date of delivery may vary from time to time due to Digital Butcher’s logistics contractor polocies, delivery location, method of delivery, and the products ordered.

(c) Products may be delivered in separate shipments.

(d)When placing your order, we consider these factors when calculating the Estimated Delivery Date:

(e) Due to the on-demand nature of Digital Butcher Co’s product range, delivery may be delayed. We appreciate your patience during this time and endeavour to resolve any burden this may cause you, the customer.

(f)We will not be responsible for wrong shipping address if you provide incorrect information. Any additional costs to redeem your goods and have them delivered to you will be at the consumer’s expense, unless otherwise specified.

(g)Due to state & government advice, all current Digital Butcher Co. delivers will be made adhering to best practice so a contactless delivery can be achieved. To assist in this process we recommend customers leave at their door a cool-bag or esky for our drivers to deliver your proteins into. In the event this is not available, Digital Butcher will leave your delivery in a safe place near your front door and SMS immediately once you order has been securely placed at your address.

5) Tracking Options

Digital Butcher Co. Pty Ltd aims to provide visibility and transparency throughout the shipment process. Once your order is confirmed and shipped, you will receive a link to track your package.

6) Damages

If there is any damage to the packaging upon delivery, contact us immediately at support@digitalbutcher.co.

    Delivery Schedule

    Please note orders can be taken up until 48 hours prior to your preferred delivery day. This allows us to prepare and pack your order fresh on the day of delivery.

    The Digital Butcher Co. is committed to delivering our products with the greatest care and safety so our customer can have peace of mind knowing they are receiving their order conveniently & sustainably.

    With a commitment to becoming a zero-carbon emitter, our deliveries are now made on specific days within our delivery network. This includes deliveries to Melbourne’s:

    • Monday (Orders for Monday delivery close 10am Saturday)
    • Wednesday (Orders for Wednesday delivery close 10am Monday)
    • Friday (Orders for Friday delivery close 10am Wednesday)

    For your convenience, on the day of your delivery you will receive notifications from Digital Butcher Co. via text message advising you:

    • of the scheduled time your order will arrive
    • when your order is 20 minutes away from being delivered
    • after your order has been successfully delivered.
